Recruitment Information Events
Recruitment information events are informal opportunities to find out more about our PGCE programme.
Come and join us for coffee and biscuits and:
- meet the PGCE Course Director
- find out more about the personalised, supportive PGCE we offer in partnership with our Wandsworth schools
- be guided on the application and interview process
- arrange experience in school prior to starting the course
The 2024-25 recruitment cycle opens in October 2023 and recruitment activities will continue until spaces on the September 2024 PGCE are full.
The next PGCE recruitment events for the 2024-25 recruitment cycle will run on the following dates:
Thursday 9th November, 4-5pm, at our training base at St Mary's
Friday 5th January, 4-5pm remote online session
Friday 23rd February, 4-5pm, at our training base at St Mary's
Each session will be hosted by the PGCE Course Director who will provide an overview of the course and facilitate a Q&A session to ensure you get all your questions answered about the course.

Regional Recruitment Event

Come and see us at the Get Into Teaching: London event hosted by the Department for Education. We will be on hand to answer your questions about our training opportunities.
These free events are a great opportunity to:
- Get expert advice on funding and your application
- Talk to teachers and course providers
- Connect with people like you considering a career in teaching
Finding the right route to QTS is extremely important and each ITT provider offers something quite unique. By visiting our training base and speaking to the course director you will find out more about our School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) route and what it can offer you.
